Warranty terms

6-month warranty: general pest, bee and wasp, possum and bird treatments

This warranty is given by TermiteFree Pest Control, 459 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121, phone 1300 617 506, email info@termitefree.au, ABN 21 782 646 759.

What's covered

  • If the pests we treated come back within 6 months, we come back and re-treat free, with no call-out fee.
  • For bees and wasps, it covers the nests we treated. A new nest somewhere else is a new job, and we give you the price before we start.
  • A few wasps may hang around the old entrance for a short while after treatment as foragers come back. That's normal. If you're not sure, call and ask.

How long it lasts

The warranty lasts 6 months from the day we treat.

How to claim

To claim, call 1300 617 506 or email info@termitefree.au within the 6 months. Tell us the address and what you're seeing, and we arrange a time to come back.

What it costs to claim

Claiming costs you nothing. There is no call-out fee and no charge for the re-treatment, and you pay no other costs to make a claim.

Your other rights

The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under a law in relation to our services.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  • to cancel your service contract with us; and
  • to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

10-year warranty: termite treatments

Termite treatments come with a 10-year warranty.
